Spectacular Weekend
Well what can I say. I know it has been forever since I have posted on here but the time just seems right for a post. (Gives you all something to read about my interesting life ;-) )

So where do I begin.....ok....Thursday morning I got up at 6AM and my mom drove me to the airport. After checking in for my flight to Calgary I went and had breakfast with my mom at Milestones. I had the Strawberry French Toast....mmmmmmmmmmm. After breakfast I said bye to mom and went threw my gates. I had about an hour before my flight and it seemed like forever. Oh Incase you didnt know. I was going to Calgary to see Angélique. Well when I got in the air I was talking to the guy beside me and it turns out when he was my age he lived 2 blocks away from me and had a girlfriend in Calgary as well (Freaky stuff). When my plane landed and I got off...It was like a movie. I walked threw the doors to the luggage area and the first thing I saw was her. I gave her a big hug and a kiss and her dad took a picture of us :). It turns out when I was giving her a hug that the arrivals screen still said my plane hadnt landed so I must have jumped out early.

When we got back to her house she showed me to her room which was my room for the weekend. I changed and then we went for a picnic lunch. We walked to the lake and sat on a bench and shared a sandwich. We watched the ducks and I got bit by Mosquitoes (they became a problem but you will here about that in a bit). After Lunch we walked to Silvercity and watched Bruce Almighty. There were only 4 other people other than us in the theatre. The movie was hilarious. We walked back to her place which I must say is a very nice home. It's going to be a beautiful neighborhood when its completly constructed. We went to pick up her mom from work and then drop Angélique off at Cadets. Her parents took me back to their place and we had a wonderful dinner. We had BBQ Ribs, Fettuchini Alfredo and Ceaser Salad. It was sooooooooo good. After dinner we picked Angélique back up and then after she changed we went for a late night stroll up to a valley near there house and watched the stars.

Friday was a really good day. Wendy (Angélique's Mom) made Scones for breakfast :) They were so good. After breakfast Angélique and I went to Sears and had our pictures taken. Two came out very well and I should have them in early July. After pictures, The whole family went to the Calgary Zoo. It was awesome. I got to see lions and tigers and bears...oh my :P and Gorillas...and Giraffes...and loose hippos and monkeys that were running around the people (inside joke). After the zoo they took me to Lics, an ice cream place. It was so good. They had my favorite flavor in the whole world that I hadnt had in forever(Gold Medal Ribbon - tastes like a caramilk bar). That night...her parents went to a movie and let Angélique and I have the house to ourselves. We made dinner together and watched movies. It was great. :) Friday night was perfect...until I had to spend from 1AM to 6AM in the ER at the Foothills hospital because my hand was the size of a balloon. I had a bad reaction to mosquito bites. But they gave me my medication and its back to normal pretty much now.

Saturday was a busy day. I slept til noon because of the meds and then went to see Angéliques Cadet Review Parade. I got to see her lead her cadets and I also got to listen to her pipe and watch her highland dance. She was very good. That night we went to her Cadet Annual. It was a formal event and when I saw her my heart stopped for a second...She was the most beautiful, gorgeuous thing that I had ever seen. you'll see the pictures soon enough and will know what I am talking about. We had a great dinner and made fun of a lot of people hehe. Like the Dirty old Man Damon but we aren't gonna go into that again lol. When we got home we stayed up all night...well that was the plan anyway. We went for a walk at first and watched the stars. We then came back and watched Remember the Titans on DVD. We started to watch XMen but we fell asleep. We woke up as it ended and set up a makeshift bed on the floor and went to sleep....we tried to wake up to watch the sunrise but we set the alarm to late and missed it. We got up and Wendy took us for breakfast. And then to the Glenmore resevoir. It was really nice. But unfortunatly we had to cut our walk short because Kevin was on his way to her house. It was really hard to say goodbye because I knew I was gonna miss her dearly and I do. But its ok...I look forward to August :). It was a very good ride home...9 hours...I'm taking off the hour we got lost in Calgary. Very scenic ride home.

I must say thank you to Wade and Wendy for allowing me to stay with them. It was a pleasure getting to know you better. I had a really great time and we have a lot in common. Thank you very much.

Angélique, you are very special to me and made my weekend just by looking into my eyes. We have memories that we are never going to forget :). I can't wait til you visit in August and we get to make more.

I guess thats it for me...but I will probably be posting more often now :)
